By the Power of Bear Skull

The most important thing I have found with doing these pieces nightly is joy. There have been some nights that I’m just not into it and I slog through the drawing, and it shows. Other times, the idea just sets off a spark and the ink just flows. “The Power of Bear Skull” was one of these. Here I am limited just by the level of my talent and the time frame I give myself. Otherwise, doing a piece like this is just pure joy! I’m 6 years old again watching Wayne Chandler on WCKT’s Sunday Funnies (YES, that’s why I love the comics).

Anyway… JOY!
